Art
No Order Magazine talks with the artist.
Wellborn is Celtic for Owen, I am a Ngarabal and Celtic man. The drive behind why I tackle visual arts as a medium of expression is because it has been the most fruitful path I’ve taken this far.
What involvement you currently have in the art scene?
Currently I am a practicing mural and visual artist. I am represented by Birrungagd Galleries. A Creative Director for Bad Olive events and Assistant Producer for Vast Yonder.
How did your career begin?
Mine started through music, music has been the driving force behind the majority of who I am expressively. Visual art began a few years back when I returned from Berlin. That feeling of complete removal from reality was very enticing for me, and I found visual arts to be the most effective at this feeling. With the right space it’s very easy to lose yourself in yourself.

The importance of building a strong foundation. Success isn’t the picture, it’s everything that makes the picture.
