Art
No Order Magazine talks with the artist.
I'm Simon Beuve, a French artist and abstract painter. I’ve been in Australia since 2012 and I'm from Normandy.
How did your career begin?
I was always drawing from a young age, in my teenage years I remember seeing one tag in my village and every time I walked past it I couldn’t stop looking at it. Not long after, I made friends with two Parisian guys who were tagging, and they invited me to Paris. When I went, I saw the graffiti scene, it was insane! I instantly told myself this is what I want to do.
What does art mean to you? Is it personal?
Art is life, and life is art, a very cliché to say that but that’s how I see it. It's non stop, whatever I look at, think or do, I think if art didn’t exist I would be going crazy or becoming a lost soul.

What advice do you have for emerging artists?
Keep having fun, don't be afraid to fail and keep pushing - it’s a marathon not a sprint.
